These TALL sweatshirts are 50/50 cotton/polyester and are made in the USA. They have a narrower shoulder than most brands that you would purchase at Walmart, Target, or Sears, which fit women so much better. These tall sweatshirts are approximately 5 inches larger than regular sweatshirts so your jacket can cover you bum, sleeve lengths are 3-4 inches longer than a regular sweatshirt. Remember it is easier to cut the excess off than having to add it on.
If you are going to use these sweatshirts to make a quilted jacket be sure to buy one at least one size larger than normal. Then after it is washed be sure to try it on before you begin. Reach under the arms and grab the side seam, you must be able to pinch at least an inch of excess fabric on both sides to ensure the jacket will fit when finished. Trust me, I have made dozens of sweatshirt jackets.
